Dearest Paladin Brannigan,
Thank you for your kind letter. I have had it reproduced in The Gryffin Peak Times. The message from yourself created quite a stir and the shift in the people of Diyun’s morale was well noted by all on the ruling councils.
I also aired it at The Gryffin Peak Religious Council. Personally, I will send ten of our more promising acolytes for training in The Shambles. If they can survive and flourish there then they can be returned here as fully trained Priests. Paladin Bright, an esteemed member of the council and a stalwart follower of Pholtus decided to send three acolytes too, in order that, “The Light can shine in Y’Bent again and that the wishy washy ways of St Cuthbert can have some steel put into them.” I am sure they will be a great boon, and that you will enjoy guiding them.
Your offer is most welcome. I would gladly accept a three Chapeuxs to tend to the newly formed Gryffin peak Knights of St Cuthbert. Such a fledgling organization would flourish under the ministrations of extra priest. In return I will release a Bronze Star to attend to their doctrinal needs. I would also accept another star from The Rumbles to support Chapeux Reginald in the main church of St Cuthbert on The Admiral’s Isle. This is a busy and prospering church with a full congregation. Given the multi-ethnic nature of Diyun a Star raised under your tutelage would have the flexibility that, perhaps, those that came here with me would not.
I thank you, in the name of the cudgel, the collecting bowl and kindness.
Yours, ever in St Cuthbert’s grace,
