Greetings Paladin Jude, I send you this letter to resolve a few issues that were raised during our last meeting. First of all, I believe I owe you an apology, and it concerns my aggressive attitude towards you during our previous discussion. The circumstances prior to that meeting had a very severe effect on me and to put it in simpler terms, “I lost it”. I thought that I had put that part of my life behind me and that I was managing my guilt and penance in silence as I should have. To have what I had done exposed was extremely shocking. It took me by surprise and I was extremely upset. What was more upsetting was the interview with the Gryphonpeak times. His objectification of my stature was extremely rude and so was the extremely aggressive attitude of that pious new paladin bright.
I have had time to think about the debate and I believe I must only apologize for overstepping my boundaries in such a vulgar manner and saying that your lack of female company was something that you needed. By Selidor … adventuring with males really has its effects on a lady. The other issue that I raised however, I am afraid I won’t be apologizing for that. You see, because you have contributed so much to our cause and adventured with us, I had assumed that we had developed a bond and by we, I mean the group, of course. There is a camaraderie that has formed over the course of time and it has changed the way we treat each other in a positive way. I sometimes feel like you do not share that bond with us because your actions always seem to contradict everything we decide to do. I understand that we all have opinions but you must understand that compromises are necessary in order to keep the atmosphere positive, if it isn’t then the work that we need to do will not proceed as well as we would want.
Paladin Jude, you must understand that you are not alone anymore. You have a new home, a new order of knights, a new group of adventurers that have fought side by side with you; you are a part of Gryphonpeak. It wouldn’t hurt to extend an olive branch every now and then. I am not asking you to change yourself, I simply want you to understand that you will find the party a more positive place if you consider a bit of compromise every now and then. I had to learn this the hard way and I would rather see you not do the same mistakes that I have done.
At the end of the day, this is a matter of opinion. I could be wrong in feeling this way and the others may disagree but I felt like raising the issue in private just in case you felt differently.
